Deeper Security for Your Bots

Protect Gold is a new, fantastic protection system available for botters who wish to share and sell their compiled bots without the risk of having them stolen. In addition, the program provides Ubot developers with other handy features such as auto-updating – and even makes it possible to create programs with time-limited trial periods for prospective bot buyers.

This new security system works with all versions of the software, whether you possess the Standard, Pro or Developer’s license. It requires you to have only web hosting with PHP 5.x and a MySQL database – and best of all, you can take advantage of this great protection program without making changes to your existing source code. For botters who desire even deeper security, Protect Gold offers a special subroutine that only needs to be dropped into a bot – sans editing or resetting of any variables – in order to be activated.

Here’s a detailed rundown of some of the awesome capabilities that Protect Gold provides:
Time-Limited Trials

Create bots that will run only for a period of time as specified by you. You designate a shut-down time, and your bot will stop runnning – so there’s no more risk of users taking advantage of a trial period by restarting it over and over again. If they want your bot, they’ve got to buy your bot!
Automatic Updates

Now you can effortlessly provide your bot buyers with dependable, routine updates with a feature that automatically scans for available update upon start-up of your bot followed by an instant download of the update.
Hardware ID Locking

PG incorporates a state-of-the art, advanced program for locking your hardware whenever you sell a bot by detecting information about your customer’s computer. If the program detects data that does not match up with your customer’s computer identity, it will not work, thereby rendering it impossible for your customers to share your bot with others, or install it on other machines.
Autorunning

Now there is an “Auto” button that when clicked, will set your bot up for running as soon as it loads up. Don’t want your bot to autorun? Simply toggle it off – best of all, end-users cannot bypass this function – it’s in your control only.
No Shelling

In short, no shelling means more energy for your computer. In the past, bots used huge amounts of memory and as a result slowed down your computer in a major way. Also, with PG’s no-shelling feature, your customers do not need to manage their anti-virus programs to correlate with your bot – therefore there is much lower resource usage, equaling a faster, smoother running bot.
Simple License Revocation

Your bot will only run under a valid, active license! So, in the case that your customer either stops payment for your bot or requests a return, you can securely issue a refund and invalidate their license immediately.

Using Ubot 5 with a Dial-Up Connection

Did you know that you can use Ubot with dial-up? You may be using dial-up if you’re trying to reset your IP in between bot connections each time a bot is launched. This is a common workaround for people that wish to get a new IP address every time without dealing with proxy providers.

Here’s some tips when using dialup:

Your computer needs room to breathe in order to run glitch-free. So, practice routine maintenance: update your drivers, clean up your registry, delete any unused files, etc. at least once a week.

To watch tutorials faster, obtain a decent download manager. Lately, users with dial-up are favoring the Vimeo Video Downloader 3.16, which is free.

Be certain your ISP is not slowing you down – for example, if you are getting something called a TCP Error 10061, chances are your problem has more to do with your ISP rather than your computer itself. If you do need a new ISP, you can get one online. Users tout Turbo USA, because it has an accelerator. But there are others out there – and many of them offer free trial periods so that you can test them out and see what works best with your bot.

Before you know it, it will be time to upgrade again – to be sure you won’t have problems with the upgrade, have a look into your control panel and make sure all of your “User” credentials are the same as your Ubot credentials.

Changing Your Proxies: Ubot Studio Tutorials

Here’s a handy tutorial on just how to manage your proxies:

1. Scrape a set of proxies and have them readily available in an accessible file – you’ll need to load this file into a list in your Ubot 5 program. To do this, select the Add to List command under Variable Commands. Now name your list.
2. Under Variable Constants, drag the $list from file constant into the empty content field.
3. Under the Action Commands, select the Change Proxy command.
4. When the window pops up, return to the Variable Constants and locate the $Next List Item constant and drag this into the Proxy field.
5. Click OK.
6. Return to the Variable Commands. Select the Set List Position command and enter “0” under Position – then choose the list you created for the proxies.
7. Immediately before your account creation loop, place the Set Position command – now you will place everything (EXCEPT the following commands: Set List Position, Add to List, Clear List, and Clear Cookies) in a Loop Command, which you will see under Flow Commands in your toolbox.
8. Instead of entering the number of instances you will your loop to run, select the $list total constant under Variable Constants and a window will appear requesting you to specify a list – choose the one you created for your proxy list.
9. Et voila! Now, your loop will run a number of times equal to the number of items in your proxy list – and each time it loops, your IP address will change.
10. Ensure that the process is running smoothly by placing a Navigate Command inside the loop to a web site that will examine your IP – this way, you can easily see which proxies are working, and which aren’t.

How to Handle Finicky Captchas

Here’s a quick tutorial for getting a captcha to show up in the captcha box, without a glitch. In short, you will need to run the the command twice. Here’s what that means:

1. Choose My Atrribute, enter the visual attribute on the page, which is, in this case, the captcha solving box.
2. Toggle “On” the Close All Dialogs feature.
3. Toggle “Yes” under Decode Captcha. Your dialog box should now pop up, with an empty field where the captcha solution will need to be entered.
4. Toggle “Off” the Close All Dialogs feature. (Note: This is the step where problem sometimes arises, because the dialog box will appear and suddenly disappear without giving you the opportunity to decode the captcha. Now, however, the box should remain in sight.)
5. Call up your attribute again, and again tell it to decode the captcha.

Now You will now be able to solve the captcha puzzle, and move on to your next step in creating your bot.
